Latma Aman Malindo ke-27AB

Pada 28hb Oktober sampai dengan 1hb November telah dilaksanakan acara Latihan Aman Malindo ke-27 AB di Kuching.
Latihan ini merupakan kegiatan yang diadakan tahunan dan secara bergantian pelaksanaannya di Indonesia dan Malaysia oleh Polri dan PDRM.
Fortunatelly, pelaksanaan tahun 2008 ini di IPK Sarawak yang berarti dilaksanakan di Kota Kuching.
Delegasi Polri sejumlah 138 orang yang dipimpin langsung oleh Deputi Operasi Kapolri Irjen Pol Drs. Rubani Pranoto datang ke Kuching pada 26hb Oktober dan terbagi dalam tiga kloter, pertama dengan menggunakan Batavia air yang berangkat dari Pontianak, kemudian dengan menggunakan bus SJS juga dari Pontianak dan bergabung di Entikong serta keesokan harinya dengan menggunakanFoker 50 milik Polri yang membawa rombongan Deops, Kapolda dan pejabat utama Polda Kalbar.
Latihan dilaksanakan selama 5 hari meliputi latihan darat, latihan laut / perairan dan latihan posko atau bilik gerakan.
